We've teamed up with the NHL, NHLPA, and USA Hockey, the Hershey Jr Bears to design a program that makes it easy, fun, and affordable for families to get started in hockey!
The NHL/NHLPA Learn to Play program is the perfect first step for kids who want to get started in hockey. Learn to Play introduces boys and girls ages 4-10 to the sport in a welcoming environment where they'll build skills, confidence, and friendships-both on and off the ice.
Program Details
- Mondays from 6:45-7:45 p.m.
- Hersheypark Arena
- Fall Session: November 3-December 22
- Winter Session: January 5-March 9
Program Options
Each option includes eight weeks of on-ice instruction led by certified coaches.
- $295 - New Players
Tuition plus a full set of brand-new hockey equipment (head-to-toe, yours to keep). - $100 - Returning Players
Tuition only. Players bring back their equipment from a previous Learn to Play session.

Eligibility
Participants must:
- Be between ages 4-10
- Be able to skate independently (without assistance)
