
Shepard Recalled from Stingrays, LaDue Heads to Taxi Squad

The Hershey Bears announced today that goaltender Hunter Shepard has been recalled from the club's ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays. Additionally, the Washington Capitals announced that defender Paul LaDue has been re-assigned from Hershey to the Washington Taxi Squad.
Shepard, 25, has recorded a 6-5-1-1 record in 14 games with the Stingrays this season, posting a 2.84 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage. He was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Month in December, collecting a 2-0-1 record to open his professional career with a 1.89 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage in that span.
LaDue, 28, has six points (2g, 4a) in 16 games with the Bears this season. He collected 18 penalty minutes, and his +9 rating is tied for the best on the Bears.
