2019-20 Season Cancelled: Frequently Asked Questions

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Hockey League has cancelled the remainder of the 2019-20 season. The Hershey Bears staff remains committed to the health and safety of its fans, players and staff. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for fans who have purchased tickets for the 2019-20 season.

What do I do if I purchased single game tickets for one of the cancelled Bears games through Ticketmaster? 
All single game tickets purchased online through Ticketmaster.com will be automatically refunded to the method of payment used for purchase. Fans do not need to take any further action. Please allow 14-21 business days for processing.

What do I do if I purchased single game tickets for one of the cancelled Bears games through the GIANT Center Box Office? 
If you purchased through the venue Box Office, you will receive 1 game voucher and 1 snack voucher for every seat purchased for the 6 cancelled games.  You will be able to redeem these vouchers for any game during the 2020-2021 season.

What do I do if I purchased tickets through a resale site? 
All tickets purchased through a resale site (StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, etc) will be subject to the refund policy of that ticket marketplace. Please contact their customer service departments for more information.

What happens to the promotional item I was supposed to receive at my game?
Unfortunately, promotional items associated with cancelled games cannot be distributed. 

I purchased tickets to Hersheypark Pass Night - will I still receive my Hersheypark Ticket? 
Unfortunately, promotional items associated with cancelled games cannot be distributed.

I am a Season Ticket Holder with a Full Season, Half Season, or 12-Game Plan. What happens to my tickets for games that were cancelled?
All Season Ticket Holders will be issued a credit for the tickets purchased for the cancelled games. Please note the credit for the value of those games will be applied to your 2020-21 season ticket account.

I’m a Season Ticket Holder and purchased my playoff tickets, what happens to any monies I have paid for the 2020 Playoffs?
All Season Ticket Holders will be issued a credit for the tickets purchased for the playoff games. All monies will be applied to your Season Ticket account/renewal for the 2020-21 season.

I am a Flex-10 Plan ticket holder. What can I do with my unused tickets?
The Bears will accept any unused Flex-10 Plan vouchers at the GIANT Center Box Office and the Front Office for games during the 2020-21 regular season.

I am a group leader who purchased group tickets for one of the six cancelled games. What happens to my tickets?
In the coming weeks, we will reach out to you directly to provide you with options for your group tickets.   We look forward to working with you on the option that works best for you and your group.

I had purchased a Special Greeting, Coco’s Zone or Celebration Bag for a cancelled game. What will happen to my purchase?
  • Special Greetings, Coco’s Zones or Celebration bags that were purchased for any of these cancelled games will be credited to be used at a later date.  We look forward to working with you on what new game options work best for you.
  • Given that our staff is working remotely like so many other organizations with the current situation of COVID-19, there is very limited access to the GIANT Center. Due to this, it is delaying our ability to communicate. We appreciate your understanding.

I’m a Club Seat owner, what happens to my tickets for games that were cancelled?
All club seat owners will be issued a credit for the tickets purchased for the cancelled games. Please note the credit for the value of those games will be applied to your 2020-21 club seat account. All club seat owners will be issued a credit for the tickets purchased for the playoff games. All monies will be applied to your club seat account/renewal for the 2020-21 season.

I’m a Suite Owner, do I need to do anything with my current Suite Lease Agreement?
No - your Suite Lease Agreement will continue and include the benefits as outlined.  We will be in touch directly with you to discuss the impact of COVID-19 as it relates to your Suite Lease Agreement.
