BEARS SIGN FORWARD DAVID CIVITARESE TO ATO

HERSHEY, Pa. – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the club has signed forward David Civitarese to an amateur tryout agreement. Additionally, Civitarese has signed an American Hockey League contract effective for the 2012-13 season. The announcements were made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Civitarese, 22, recently completed a four-year career at Colorado College (WCHA), where he appeared in a total of 121 games and registered 30 points (14 goals, 16 assists).
The 6-2, 204-lb. native of Calgary, Alberta played two years of junior hockey with the Okotoks Oilers (AJHL), racking up 42 goals, 58 assists and 100 penalty minutes over two seasons.
The BEARS will host the Charlotte Checkers in a pair of games tomorrow, March 24 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, March 25 at 5:00 PM. A limited number of tickets remain for both games.
