Calder Cup Finals Pre-Game 'Party on the Plaza'

It’s time to party, Bear Nation! Join us ahead of all three of our Calder Cup Finals home games at GIANT Center for a pre-game Party on the Plaza, set to start at 3 PM prior to each game, featuring food, drinks, music, games and more fun.

The Calder Cup Finals return to Chocolatetown for the first time in seven years, and the AHL’s most dedicated fan base is ready to ROAR as the Bears chase the club’s 12th Calder Cup. Game 3 is Tuesday, June 13, Game 4 is Thursday, June 15, and Game 5 is Saturday, June 17. We need Bear Nation loud and proud to cheer us to victory.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM for all home games, but tell your boss you need to play hookey to get ready to great for some playoff hockey and join us outside GIANT Center pre-game for the Party on the Plaza. 

We’ll keep the tunes spinning as you enjoy yard games such as Corn Hole and giant Jenga, plus grab some chalk and write a good luck message to the Bears for encouragement as they enter GIANT Center. Show off your Bears pride by scoring Calder Cup Playoff merchandise in our retail tent, and then top it off with free face painting (available until 5:15 PM  prior to each game).

We’ll have cold drinks available including beer, plus there will be a variety of food options including delicious Chick-fll-A. Plus, there'll be other great photo opportunities, live broadcasts, and chances to get ready to help the Bears extinguish the Coachella Valley Firebirds with the Calder Cup on the line. 

Tickets to all home Calder Cup Finals games are on sale now but going quickly, so make sure to snag yours and head to the GIANT Center early for pre-game fun on the plaza!
