#1 Adam Morrison
Morrison joined Hershey as the team’s third goalie for the Calder Cup Playoff run. He did not see any game action with the club, but did dress as Vitek Vanecek’s backup after an injury to Pheonix Copley. Morrison’s ECHL rights were protected by Rapid City, where he went 16-17-0 last season.

CONTRACT STATUS: UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENT
#30 Vitek Vanecek
The rookie finished second in the league with five shutouts and finished third among rookie goaltenders with a 2.54 goals against average. Vanecek, a second round selection of Washington, took over for an injured Pheonix Copley during Hershey’s playoff run.
2016-17 STATS: 18-10-7, 2.54 GAA, .909 SV%, 5 shutouts
CONTRACT STATUS: Under contract with Washington. 2017-18 is the second year of Vanecek's three-year, entry-level contract signed with Washington on Jul. 15, 2014. Vanecek does NOT need waivers to be sent to Hershey.
#31 Pheonix Copley
Copley returned to the Capitals organization in a blockbuster trade with the St. Louis Blues on Feb. 27. The North Pole, Alaska native led Hershey’s push into the playoffs with sensational goaltending down the stretch. Between time with Hershey and Chicago, Copley finished seventh in the AHL in goals against average last season at 2.25. His playoffs ended early due to a lower body injury. Copley is expected to be healed in time for the upcoming season.
2016-17 STATS: 11-5-0, 2.15 GAA, .931 SV%
CONTRACT STATUS: Under contract with Washington. 2017-18 is the first year of Copley's new two-year deal signed on Jun. 28, 2017. Copley is on a two-way contract this year, and one-way contract next year.
#31 Parker Milner
Milner made a positive impression in Hershey in his five appearances with the Bears, providing three wins when the team was struggling to earn victories. Milner was one of the ECHL’s top goaltenders, leading the South Carolina Stingrays to the Kelly Cup Finals, posting 12 playoff wins and three shutouts.
2016-17 STATS: 3-2-0, 2.84, .913 SV%
CONTRACT STATUS: Under contract to Hershey. Signed a one-year AHL deal with Hershey on Jul. 11.
