Stephenson Re-Assigned to Hershey

The Washington Capitals announced today that forward Chandler Stephenson has been re-assigned to the Hershey Bears hockey team.Stephenson, 23, tallied 38 points (10 goals, 28 assists) in 72 games this season with Hershey. He ranked fifth on the team in assists, and seventh overall in points. The center has skated in 174 career AHL contests with Hershey, scoring 81 points (25 goals, 56 assists). He was originally a third round selection, 77th overall, by Washington in the 2012 NHL Draft. The Saskatoon native has appeared in four games with Washington this season.
Hershey will host Game 4 of the Atlantic Division Semifinals on Saturday night. The Bears lead the best-of-five series, 2-1, over the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
