(Hershey, PA- December 29, 2016)-The
Hershey Bears announced today that defenseman Madison Bowey sustained a slight laceration of the tendon on his ankle when struck by an opposing skate during Wednesday's game at Syracuse. He underwent a successful repair of the tendon in Syracuse last night and is expected to make a full recovery.
Bowey will be out indefinitely as he recovers from his injury.
Hershey returns to the
GIANT Center this weekend as they host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday at 7 p.m. for Scout Night. On Saturday, the Bears host the Providence Bruins for a special 5 p.m. start time on New Year’s Eve. Ticket information is available on HersheyBears.com.
