BEARS SIGN GOALTENDER MATT TENDLER TO TRYOUT AGREEMENT

HERSHEY, Pa. – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the club has signed goaltender Matt Tendler to an amateur tryout agreement. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Tendler, 24, joins the BEARS after completing his senior season at Neumann College (ECAC), where he posted a record of 6-4-0, a goals-against average of 2.98 and a save percentage of .888.
The 5-8, 170-lb. native of Warminster, PA appeared in a total of 35 games over his four-year career with the Knights and holds a record of 19-8-2, a goals-against average of 2.75 and a save percentage of .895.
