
BEARS SIGN FORWARD T.J. SYNER TO TRYOUT AGREEMENT

HERSHEY, Pa. – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the club has signed forward T.J. Syner to an amateur tryout agreement. Additionally, Syner has signed an American Hockey League contract for the 2012-13 season. The announcements were made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Syner, 23, joins the BEARS after recently completing his senior season at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (HE), where he served as co-captain. Syner led the Minutemen in assists (24) and points (37) during the campaign. His offensive production increased steadily over his four years, and totals 97 points (37 goals, 60 assists).
Prior to his collegiate career, the 5-9, 173-lb. native of Springfield, MA played one season with the Indiana Ice (USHL), posting 21 goals and 14 assists in 58 games.
