HERSHEY BEARS ANNOUNCE 2011-2012 PROMOTIONAL NIGHTS

Hershey, Pa.) — The Hershey Bears are pleased to announce the 2011-2012 promotion schedule. Below is a list of dates and promotions that will take place at Bears home games during this season.

October 15• Giant Center 10th Season Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear commemorative Giant Center 10th season jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity after the game.• PNC Bank Magnet Schedule Night – The first 8,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule, courtesy of PNC Bank.• Rally Towels – All fans will receive an opening night branded rally towel.

October 22• Appalachian Brewing Company Poster Schedule Night – The first 4,000 fans will receive a poster schedule, courtesy of Appalachian Brewing Company.

October 23• Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands.

October 30• Breast Cancer Awareness Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity after the game.• Reese’s Trick-or-Treat Night – All fans ages 12 and under will receive Halloween candy, courtesy of Reese’s.

November 9• Hersheypark Pass Night – All fans will receive a complimentary pass to Hersheypark for the 2012 season, valid through July 4, 2012.

November 11• Quality Digital Office Technology Autograph Book Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive an autograph book, courtesy of Quality.

November 19• PPL Electric Utilities Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb Night – All fans will receive a compact fluorescent light bulb, courtesy of PPL Electric Utilities.

November 23• Stroehmann Bakeries/Canteen & Covenco Vending Services Turkey Shoot – All fans will have the opportunity to come down on the ice following the game for the chance to win Thanksgiving food items.

November 26• Hershey CKC Pharmacy Gift Card – The first 3,500 fans will receive a gift card to Hershey CKC Pharmacy.• Washington Capitals Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special Washington Capitals jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity after the game.

December 3• WGAL Teddy Bear Toss – Fans are encouraged to toss teddy bears on the ice when the Bears score their first goal. All teddy bears will be donated to charity.

December 10• Capital BlueCross Flashlight Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a flashlight, courtesy of Capital BlueCross.

December 11• Pennsylvania Lottery Night – The first 4,000 fans ages 18 and older will receive a Pennsylvania Lottery voucher.

December 17• M&T Bank Car Magnet Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a car magnet, courtesy of M&T Bank.• Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2011 Toys for Tots drive.

December 18• The Turkey Hill Experience Gift Card Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a $10 gift card for The Turkey Hill Experience, courtesy of Turkey Hill.December 21• Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands.• Rally Towel Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a rally towel.

December 31• New Year’s Eve Celebration – Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Bears.• New Year’s Eve Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special New Year’s Eve jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity after the game.

January 8• PSECU Knit Cap Night – The first 4,000 fans will receive a knit cap, courtesy of PSECU.• Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands.

February 4• Chocolate-Covered February – All fans will receive candy upon exit, courtesy of The Hershey Company.

February 5• Chocolate-Covered February – All fans will receive candy upon exit, courtesy of The Hershey Company.• Comcast Spotlight – Featuring special guest SpongeBob SquarePants.• Dollar Dog Day – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands.

February 12• MetroBank Drawstring Backpack Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a drawstring backpack, courtesy of MetroBank.• Chocolate-Covered February – All fans will receive candy upon exit, courtesy of The Hershey Company.

February 25• Capital BlueCross Kooler Bag Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a Kooler Bag, courtesy of Capital BlueCross.• Chocolate-Covered February – All fans will receive candy upon exit, courtesy of The Hershey Company.

March 3• Ames Services Rally Towel Night – The first 8,000 fans will receive a rally towel, courtesy of Ames Services.

March 4• Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands.

March 16• Penn State Hershey Medical Center Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a T-shirt, courtesy of Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

March 17• St. Patrick’s Day Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special St. Patrick’s Day jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity after the game.

March 21• Hersheypark Pass Night – All fans will receive a complimentary pass to Hersheypark for the 2012 season, valid through July 4, 2012.

March 24• Ford Bobblehead Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a Keith Aucoin bobblehead, courtesy of Ford.

March 25• Team Autograph Night – Fans will have 90 minutes to secure autographs and take photos with the Bears on the ice following the game.• Huggins Printing Company Team Photo Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a team photo, courtesy of Huggins Printing.

March 31• PPL Electric Utilities Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb Night – All fans will receive a compact fluorescent light bulb, courtesy of PPL Electric Utilities.

April 7• Fairview Golf Course Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a Bears-branded golf ball, courtesy of Fairview Golf Course.April 8• Bears Fan Appreciation Night – The Bears will be giving away prizes as a "thank you" to their fans.• Player Awards – The players will be acknowledged with various awards.

All promotions are one per person except Hersheypark Pass Nights, which are one per ticket. Promotional nights are subject to change without prior notice and all items are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Season tickets are on sale now by calling 717-508-BEAR, with plans starting at just $160. Great seats are still available, including the popular 12- and 22-game plans that allow fans to choose the games that best fit their individual schedules.

The Bears have preseason games against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday, October 1, at 7 p.m. and on Monday, October 3 at 7 p.m. against the Binghamton Senators.

Hershey’s home opener is Saturday, October 15 at 7 p.m. against the Norfolk Admirals. Single-game tickets for all regular season games will go on sale to the general public Friday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Hersheypark Stadium Box Office.
