HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today the three games that will comprise the 2011 preseason schedule. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The BEARS will travel to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to face the Penguins in preseason action at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, September 30 at 7:05 p.m. The Penguins will then return the favor by playing the BEARS at Giant Center on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. HERSHEY will also host the Binghamton Senators on Monday, October 3 at Giant Center at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for HERSHEY’S two home preseason games will go on sale on Monday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the Giant Center box office. Tickets are $12 and general admission during the preseason.
The BEARS will open the 2011-12 regular season in early October, with season ticket plans available now by calling (717) 508-BEAR. The 2011-12 regular season schedule is expected to be released by the American Hockey League in the coming days.
