WISCONSIN NATIVE BACK IN CHOCOLATETOWN AFTER PILING UP 132 PENALTY MINUTES IN 28 GAMES IN 2010-11
HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the club has signed right wing Joel Rechlicz to an AHL contract for the 2011-12 season. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Rechlicz, 24, returns for his second season in a Chocolate and White sweater, after scoring one goal and accumulating 132 penalty minutes in 28 games in 2010-11. A native of Brookfield, WI, Rechlicz also has 23 games of NHL experience entering 2011-12. He has 95 career penalty minutes and one assist at the NHL level, all with the New York Islanders.
The BEARS will open the 2011-12 regular season in early October, with season ticket plans available now by calling (717) 508-BEAR. The American Hockey League is expected to release the 2011-12 regular season schedule in early August.
