06/06/2011 - (Hershey, Pa.) – Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R) announced that GIANT Food Stores, LLC of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, signed a 10-year contract to renew the original naming rights agreement for GIANT Center arena. "GIANT Center is a tremendous facility that brings families together to share quality entertainment and sports, and we are thrilled to continue to demonstrate our commitment to the Central Pennsylvania community," said Rick Herring, president, GIANT Food Stores. The partnership between HE&R and GIANT Food Stores began almost 20 years ago with the 1992 implementation of a discount Hersheypark ticket program. The renewed sponsorship of GIANT Center continues and enhances the relationship between the two companies.
