12/07/2009 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 7, 2009 CONTACT: John Walton-HERSHEY BEARS – (717) 682-6470 RIGHT WING BRANDON SUGDEN DEPARTS CHOCOLATETOWN FOR RUSSIA RUGGED WINGER SIGNS WITH CHEKHOV VITYAZ IN KHL, BEARS PLAY IN ALBANY FRIDAY NIGHT HERSHEY – The 2009 Calder Cup Champion HERSHEY BEARS announced today that right wing Brandon Sugden has opted to sign with Chekhov Vityaz (KHL) for the remainder of the 2009-10 season. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst. Sugden played in eight games for HERSHEY this season, recording 33 penalty minutes. The BEARS travel to Albany Friday to face the River Rats at 7:00 p.m., and will host the Rochester Americans Saturday night at GIANT Center.
