BEARS RELEASE EVAN BARLOW

HERSHEY, Pa.– The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that forward Evan Barlow has been released from his professional tryout agreement. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.Barlow, 27, will return to the ECHL’s Reading Royals, where he has posted 10 points (four goals, six assists), two penalty minutes and a plus-10 efficiency rating in just four games. He appeared in 20 games with HERSHEY, posting two goals and three assists.
The 5-9, 184-pound native of Strathmore, AB was acquired by the Royals on November 15, and was subsequently signed by the BEARS on November 25.
The HERSHEY BEARS hit the road for a pair of games against the Norfolk Admirals on Friday, March 8 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, March 9 at 7:15 PM. The team returns home on Sunday, March 10 for a 5:00 PM faceoff against the Binghamton Senators.
