GOALTENDER BRANDON ANDERSON SUMMONED FROM READING

HERSHEY, Pa.– The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that goaltender Brandon Anderson has been reassigned from the ECHL’s Reading Royals. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
Anderson, 20, has made 15 appearances in the Royals net. He has posted a record of 8-6-1, a goals-against average of 3.05 and save percentage of .880 while registering two shutouts.
The 6-1, 184-pound native of Langley, BC joined HERSHEY late in the 2011-12 regular season but did not appear in a game. He finished the final season of his WHL junior career with the Brandon Wheat Kings, after starting 2011-12 and spending the three previous years with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In 138 career games in the WHL, Anderson has a record of 44-62-17.
HERSHEY will take to the road to face the Albany Devils at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall today at 4:00 PM. The BEARS’ next home game is set for Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 PM against the Norfolk Admirals.
