The 6’4”, 224-pound center ranks third among Bears skaters in assists, tied for third in points and fifth on the team in goals. Stoa has registered 152 points (75 goals, 77 assists) and 244 penalty minutes in 259 career AHL games with Lake Erie and Hershey.
The Bloomington, Minn., native has appeared in 37 career NHL games with Colorado, registering seven points (four goals, three assists) and 20 penalty minutes. Stoa will wear jersey No. 29 and will be available to the media following the Capitals’ morning skate at 11:30 a.m. at First Niagara Center.
