BEARS PARTNER WITH COPS FOR K.O.P.S.

(Hershey, PA – December 6, 2013) – The Cops for K.O.P.S. Benefit Hockey Game is at GIANT Center on Saturday, December 14 at 1:00 PM. This game is to honor the lives of fallen officers within the Pennsylvania region while raising funds to assist their loved ones.
“So far this year $130,000 has been raised for this game,” said Gary Baylor, Coordinator of Cops for K.O.P.S charity game. “The Bears have been on board from the first charitable game and have given assistance including ice time, promotion, and offering many other ways of support.”
The game will include great hockey from America’s finest, fun intermission games, raffles, silent auctions, and the Hershey Bears’ mascot Coco. Fans will also be able to purchase food and beverage in the GIANT Center Club Lounge.
The 2013 game will be comprised of players from the NYPD, Philadelphia City and Pittsburgh City versus players from Federal, State and Municipal law enforcement agencies. These teams will also have former NHL, AHL, ECHL players thrown into the mix too, along with an NHL referee.
Tickets for the Cops for K.O.P.S. game are $10 per ticket, all seating is general admission, and children 3 years and younger get in for free. Tickets can be purchased at GIANT Center Box Office. All proceeds benefit children of police officers killed in the line of duty.
Also at GIANT Center on December 14 is the Hershey Bears game versus the Binghamton Senators at 7:00 PM.
