April 6, 2010

The BEARS dropped a 3-1 decision Tuesday to the Syracuse Crunch at the Onondaga County War Memorial in the beginning of a three-game road trip that will conclude the 2009-10 regular season. Syracuse scored a power play goal in each period to post the win, while Zach Miskovic scored HERSHEY’S only goal late in the third period. The goal for Miskovic was his sixth of the year. Goaltender Dan Taylor was named the game’s number one star, making 41 saves. Braden Holtby took the loss for the Chocolate and White, just his eighth regulation loss of the season. The win for the Crunch marked the only time in six tries this season the club defeated the BEARS. BEARS Radio Network Three Stars of the game: 1. Dan Taylor (Terrific in goal for the Crunch) 2.
