The BEARS look to extend a franchise best 12-game winning streak on Wednesday night, facing the Norfolk Admirals at Norfolk Scope.
HERSHEY needed a thrilling third period in Winnipeg on Saturday night to keep its winning streak intact, scoring twice in the third period to rally from a goal down. Kyle Wilson scored the game-winner late in regulation to lift the BEARS to a 3-2 victory over the Moose at MTS Centre. The win not only extended the team’s winning streak to a franchise record 12 in a row, but it also enabled the Chocolate and White to sweep a two-game road series against the defending Western Conference champions. Giant Center January 22-23 in the rematch.
The BEARS have had a good run all season against Norfolk, winning all five previous meetings in 2009-10. Since the beginning of the 2005-06 season, HERSHEY has posted a 29-13-1-2 record against their East Division rivals from down south, including eight wins in 10 meetings last season. Keith Aucoin has torched Norfolk this season, picking up 10 points in five games, including four goals.
