Black Friday finds the BEARS in upstate New York, taking on the Adirondack Phantoms at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Face-off is at 7:30 p.m.
HERSHEY will have to live without the services of Alexandre Giroux Friday night. Giroux was recalled to the Washington Capitals Friday morning. The Quebec City native is expected to play Saturday for the Capitals in Montreal against the Canadiens. To replace Giroux on the roster, HERSHEY has recalled left wing Michael Dubuc from South Carolina (ECHL). Dubuc, who wears number 15, is expected to dress Friday against the Phantoms in Glens Falls.
The BEARS begin play Friday in first place in the East Division standings with a record of 13-6-0-1, good for 27 points and a four point lead over second place Binghamton. HERSHEY will return home on Saturday to face the Phantoms in the back half of a home-and-home series before hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for both games are on sale now at the
