(HERSHEY, PA) â€" What better way to kick off the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends than coming to a
Hershey Bears game. The Chocolate and White have three home games in five days with the first one on Wednesday, November 25 at 7:00 PM. Then the Adirondack Phantoms come to town on Saturday for a 7:00 PM puck drop. The weekend concludes when long-time rivals the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins visit Hershey for a 5:00 PM face-off.
Wednesday is “Stroehmann Bakeries/Canteen & Covenco Vending Services Turkey Shoot”, and all fans have the opportunity to come down on the ice following the game for the chance to win Thanksgiving food items.
Saturday proves to be a busy night with various activities happening off the ice. It’s “Help the House Night”, with the Bears Booster Club accepting donations to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Also,
Duke the Dragon and Princess Brooke from
Dutch Wonderland will be on site.
On Sunday, the first 3,000 fans will receive an Arby’s Collectible Cup. This is the first in the series. Get to the game early as they will go fast.
The Toys for Tots Drive kicks off this weekend. All fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2009 Toys for Tots Drive. In addition, the Heart Gallery will be on site for both weekend games. Fans are encouraged to find out more information on how to adopt some great kids who need loving homes. Don’t forget to stop by and see Santa as he’ll be on-site for photo opportunities for all three games.
Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game as a few players will be signing autographs for 45-minutes in the Club Lounge.
