01/06/2009 - CONTACT: Melissa Stradnick – 717-534-8945 (HERSHEY, PA) — For the first time in 2009, the BEARS will be back in Hershey. They will face the Houston Aeros on Friday and the Albany River Rats will be in town on Saturday. Both puck drops will be at 7 PM. Friday is "Singles Night", and following the game there will be a singles mingles party in the Club Lounge. This will be open to the first 150 singles, 21 and over. There will be live music provided by 99.3 KISS-FM with DJ Mike Miller. In addition there will be free food for those in attendance, and drinks available for purchase. Friday is also "Hatfield Dollar Dog Night", where hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands. On Saturday, the Central PA Blood Bank will be on site. Fans are encouraged to help the ongoing shortage by donating blood. As a special promotion, anyone who donates blood will receive a coupon for 20% off the ticket price to see "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" at Hershey Theatre. Sorry, but no refunds or exchanges can be made on previously purchased tickets, certain restrictions apply, and coupon is not valid for Friday or Saturday evening. *All information subject to change without notice. Each Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday BEARS home game (except HERSHEYPARK pass nights) tickets will be offered for $10.00 in sections 210 and 211—a savings of $6.00 per ticket. Each fan in sections 210 - 211 will also receive a custom designed IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CUP t-shirt. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled throughout the season because you never know what regional celebrity you could be sitting with! Tickets will be available for purchase at the beginning of each month.
