Busy Weekend on the Pond in Hershey
10/22/2008 - CONTACT: Melissa Stradnick – 717-534-8945 (Hershey, PA) — The barn in Hershey will be busy this weekend, as the BEARS take to the pond for two games. On Saturday, October 25, the Binghamton Senators come to Chocolate town for a 7 PM start time. It's "Labatt Blue & Labatt Blue Light Night", where the first 4,000 fans receive a poster schedule courtesy of Labatt Blue & Labatt Blue Light. Then on Sunday the Rochester Americans visit Hershey for a 5 PM face-off. It's "Pink at the Rink Night", with fans encouraged to donate money to benefit the American Cancer Society and the fight against Breast Cancer. There will also be a Breast Cancer Awareness Jersey Auction, with the players wearing special jerseys during warm-ups. A silent auction held during the game will allow all fans a chance to win one of the jerseys signed by your favorite Bear. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. In support of the night, Coco will be locked up in front of GIANT Center, and needs help to get out. Derry Township police officers have taken Coco into custody and can't release him until fans donate money to get him out. Help Coco get out of jail by donating money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Also, back by popular demand is "HERSHEYPARK Pass Night", with all fans receiving a complimentary pass to the Park for the 2009 season. Finally, it's "The Hershey Company Trick or Treat Night", where all kids 12 and under receive Halloween candy compliments of The Hershey Company. Fans should stick around after the game as a few players will be signing autographs for 45-minutes in the Club Lounge. *All information subject to change without notice. Each Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday Bears home game (except HERSHEYPARK pass nights) tickets will be offered for $10.00 in sections 210 and 211—a savings of $6.00 per ticket. Each fan in sections 210 - 211 will also receive a custom designed IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CUP t-shirt. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled throughout the season because you never know what regional celebrity you could be sitting with! Tickets will be available for purchase at the beginning of each month.
