HERSHEY BEARS Announce 2008-2009 Promotional Nights

October 18 • PNC Bank Night – Come out for opening night of the 2008-09 season of HERSHEY BEARS hockey. The first 8,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of PNC Bank. • Pepsi Party on the Plaza – Don't miss the party prior to puck drop. Come out for your chance to win some great prizes and help us kick off a great season. October 25 • Labatt Blue & Labatt Blue Light Night – The first 4,000 fans will receive a poster schedule courtesy of Labatt Blue & Labatt Blue Light. • Choral Group Night – Group Specialty Night. October 26 • HERSHEYPARK Pass Night – All fans will receive a complimentary pass to HERSHEYPARK for the 2009 season, valid through July 4, 2009. • Pink at the Rink Night – Help us raise money to be donated to the American Cancer Society. • Breast Cancer Awareness Jersey Auction – The BEARS will wear special Breast Cancer Awareness jerseys during warm-ups that will be signed and auctioned off during the game to benefit the American Cancer Society. • The Hershey Company Trick-or-Treat Night – All kids 12 and under will receive Halloween candy, courtesy of The Hershey Company. November 1 • US Army Strong Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive an item TBD, courtesy of the US Army. The Bears will wear specialty Camouflage Jerseys to be auctioned off following the game. • Hometown Heroes Group Night – Group Specialty Night. November 15 • "Help the House" Night – The BEARS Booster Club will be accepting donations to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2008 Toys for Tots Drive. • Banking/Finance Night – Group Specialty Night. November 16 • HERSHEYPARK Christmas Candylane Night – All fans will receive a complimentary ticket good for admission to HERSHEYPARK Christmas Candylane, valid through December 31, 2008. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2008 Toys for Tots Drive. • Choral Group Night – Group Specialty Night. • Adopt-A-Greyhound Night - Rescue greyhounds will be available for adoption. November 22 • Dan's Auto Body Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive an ice scraper courtesy of Dan's Auto Body. • Comcast Spotlight Night – Don't miss special guest Tyrone from Nickelodeon's The Backyardigans. Stop by the Comcast Spotlight booth on the concourse to get your FREE Polaroid picture taken with Tyrone, the good-natured, red-haired, orange moose! It's the final night to purchase raffle tickets to win a cruise! Come to the Hershey Jr. Bears table on the concourse to register to win. March 15 • St. Patrick's Day Jersey Auction – The BEARS will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game for charity. • Adopt-A-Greyhound Night - Rescue greyhounds will be available for adoption. • Girl Scout Group Night – Group Specialty Night. • Sports Group Night – Group Specialty Night. March 25 • DUTCH WONDERLAND Night – All kids ages 12 and under will receive a complimentary day pass to DUTCH WONDERLAND, valid through July 4, 2009. • Hatfield Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands. March 28 • Huggins Printing Company Team Photo Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a team photo, courtesy of Huggins Printing. • Scout Group Night & Scout Sleepover – Group Specialty Night. March 29 • PA CENTRAL CREDIT UNION Autograph Night – Fans will have 90 minutes to take photos with the BEARS on the ice following the game. • Choral Group Night – Group Specialty Night. • Banking/Finance Group Night – Group Specialty Night. April 11 • Fairview Golf Course Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a BEARS branded golf ball, compliments of Fairview Golf Course. • Central PA Blood Bank Blood Drive – The Blood Bank will be on site, and fans are encouraged to donate blood to help the continuous blood supply shortage. • Hatfield Ham Shoot Night – Fans will have the opportunity to win prizes from Hatfield on the ice following the game. April 12 • Player Awards Night – The players will be acknowledged with various awards. • BEARS Fan Appreciation Night – BEARS will be giving away prizes as a "thank you" for all the support the fans have given. • Teacher Appreciation Group Night – Group Specialty Night. All promotions are one per person except HERSHEYPARK Pass Nights, which are one per ticket. Promotional nights are subject to change without prior notice. Season tickets are on sale now by calling (717) 508-BEAR, with plans starting at just $145. Great seats are still available, including the popular 12 and 22-game plans that allow you to pick your own games that fit your schedule. The BEARS will open training camp Thursday, September 25 at Giant Center prior to the team's first exhibition game against Norfolk Admirals on Sunday, September 28. Hershey will open its 2008-09 season on Wednesday, October 8 at Wilkes-Barre, and host the Syracuse Crunch in the team's home opener on Saturday, October 18 at 7:00 p.m. Single-game tickets for all regular season games will go on sale to the general public Friday, September 12.
