Single Game Tickets on Sale This Week: Dates to Circle

August 28, 2023

There’s 47 days until the Hershey Bears’ 2023-24 regular season opener; while we have a bit of waiting for the first puck to drop and Bear Nation to roar with us once again on Oct. 14, the good news is that single-game tickets for all 36 home games will be available to everyone on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Our GIANT Teddy Bear Toss is slated for Sunday, Jan. 7 versus the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and no doubt, tickets will be sure to go quickly for this popular game, so make sure you snag your seats right away.

As the Bears take the ice this season and look to defend their 2023 Calder Cup title, there are numerous intriguing matchups and promotions to choose from, and while our win in Coachella Valley was truly “Sweeter by the Dozen,” you can rest assured knowing we already have our sights set on going for our 13th championship.

With that in mind, here are the 13 additional key games you should definitely be circling on your calendars and considering attending this season:

Saturday, Oct. 14:  The Bears start their title defense as ***Banner No. 12*** heads to the rafters – and all fans in attendance can score their own Calder Cup Champions Mini Banner, courtesy of Members 1st Federal Credit Union. As if the banner-raising itself didn’t offer enough of an emotional punch, the Belleville Senators are the opponent, which means we could also potentially see the return of Garrett Pilon to GIANT Center for the first time since signing with Belleville’s NHL affiliate in Ottawa this summer.

PEELS. Forever a Game 5 hero. Thank you, Garrett Pilon, for helping bring Calder back to Hershey. All the best with the Senators! pic.twitter.com/eTZZb7wYMT

Sunday, Oct. 15: The new-look Cleveland Monsters make their first of two visits this season to Chocolatetown. The Monsters has adopted a primarily black-and-blue color scheme with gold accents for their new threads, and it’s always a fun treat to see a Hershey vs. Cleveland game given both cities’ connection to the AHL. Plus, this game is the first of three Hersheypark Pass Nights that will take place this season.

Sunday, Nov. 12: Hershey hosts its traditional Hockey Fights Cancer Night game against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, so you know it’s going to be an emotionally-charged night with an electric atmosphere, amplified by the fact that every fan is going to receive a light-up inflatable cheer stix, courtesy of Penn State Health.

Wednesday, Nov. 22: As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly – stick around after the game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and get into the Thanksgiving spirit with the Canteen Vending Turkey Shoot!

Saturday, Nov. 25: For the first time in franchise history, Hershey will host the Iowa Wild at GIANT Center. This game could also mark the return of former beloved Bears enforcer Kale Kessey to Hershey, after the forward signed with Iowa this summer. College students can also take advantage of our College Night offer, featuring discounted ticket prices using a valid college email address (more details to come).

Sunday, Nov. 26: Take the Bears home with you – the first 6,000 in attendance for the second weekend game against Iowa will receive a team photo, courtesy of David A. Smith printing. Plus, after the game, you can get the Bears to add their signatures at our postgame autograph session.

Bear Nation - we âÂÂàyou.

Sunday, Dec. 10: The Charlotte Checkers make their first of four visits to GIANT Center with our second Hersheypark Pass Night of the season. It’s going to be rematch of the hard-fought Atlantic Division Semifinals series that launched Hershey on its way to the 2023 Calder Cup, and that night’s matchup will feature a specialty-themed Bears jersey (more details to come).

Saturday, Dec. 16: Say “Bienvenue!” to the Laval Rocket in their lone visit to Hershey this season as the Bears host Pepsi Bobblehead Night, with the first 5,000 fans taking home a Bears bobblehead (more details to come).

Saturday, Jan. 6: The Bears took the postseason Atlantic Division crown with a three-game sweep of the Hartford Wolf Pack in May – you can bet the New York Rangers affiliate hasn’t forgotten! It may be cold outside, but it’s certainly going to heat up as it’s Halfway to Summer featuring our Corona and Modelo Hawaiian Shirt Night, featuring a Bears Hawaiian Shirt for the first 5,000 21-and-over fans in attendance.

Saturday, Feb. 24: Last season’s Eastern Conference Finals with the Rochester Americans was one for the ages, featuring the two oldest operating AHL franchises. Rochester makes its first visit to Hershey since then as the two rivals clash once more.

What a rival. What a series.

What a rival. What a series.

Handshakes, @AmerksHockey. A true classic hockey series. ðÅ pic.twitter.com/j1WreuQpmL

Sunday, March 17: It’s the final Hersheypark Pass Night of the season with another Atlantic Division battle with Hartford.

Tuesday, March 26: The first 4,000 fans in attendance will score a Bears bobblehead, courtesy of Toyota, as the Bears face the always-tough Providence Bruins. Fans can also take advantage of our first TRULY Takeover Tuesday of the season!

Saturday, April 20: Hershey closes out the regular season against Charlotte with Fan Appreciation Night, Player Awards Night, and all fans will have a chance to win a game-worn jersey right off the back of a Bears player!
