Suzdalev Stands Out in 6-3 Preseason Loss to Penguins

Alex Suzdalev enjoyed a three-point game (2g, 1a) but the Hershey Bears (0-2-0-0) concluded their preseason schedule with a 6-3 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (1-0-0-0) on Sunday afternoon at GIANT Center.

• Suzdalev scored his first of the preseason for Hershey at 15:57 to get Hershey on the board after falling behind 3-0. He later added his second of the afternoon at 4:30 of the third period with Hershey trailing 5-1, and assisted on Jérémie Biakabutuka’s goal at 16:47.
• Cal Petersen started the game in net for Hershey before turning over netminding duties to Garin Bjorklund for the third period.
• Mikhail Ilyin (1g, 1a), Brayden Edwards (1g, 2a), Atley Calvert (2a), and Brent Johnson (2a) had multi-point games for the Penguins.
