HERSHEY, Pa. – The Hershey Bears announced today a series of updates to the club’s training camp roster. The announcement was made by Bears president/general manager Doug Yingst.
Forwards Chris Bourque, Carter Camper and Paul Carey, following their clearing of waivers, were all reassigned to Hershey. Defenseman Madison Bowey was also reassigned to the Bears.
In a separate transaction, goaltender Mark Dekanich has been released from his camp tryout and will report to the ECHL’s South Carolina Stingrays.
Hershey’s roster is at 26 players, and stands as follows:
GOALTENDERS (3): Dan Ellis, Taran Kozun, Vitek Vanecek
DEFENSEMEN (9): Madison Bowey, Erik Burgdoerfer, Nick D’Agostino, Christian Djoos, Nick Jones, Joey Leach, Mike Moore, Bobby Shea, Tyler Lewington
FORWARDS (14): Riley Barber, Chris Bourque, Travis Boyd, Carter Camper, Paul Carey, Austin Fyten, Dustin Gazley, Caleb Herbert, Miles Koules, Garrett Mitchell, Maxime Sauve, Jakub Vrana, Nathan Walker, Cole Wilson
The Bears will host the Albany Devils in the opener of pre-season action for both teams tomorrow, October 1. Face-off is slated for 7:00 PM.
