In his last outing on Oct. 11 vs. Texas, Brodzinski scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and earned first-star honors in a 6-1 Hershey victory. He is an alternate captain with the Bears.

Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, Brodzinski has registered 72 points (33g, 39a) in 266 career games with New York, the San Jose Sharks, and Los Angeles.

In 317 career AHL games with Ontario, San Jose, Hartford, and Hershey, Brodzinski has recorded 272 points (128g, 144a).
