(Hershey, PA - October 24, 2016) –The
Hershey Bears announced today that forward Dustin Gazley sustained a fractured foot in Sunday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The injury will require surgery and Gazley is expected to miss 10 weeks. The announcement was made by Vice President of Hockey Operations Bryan Helmer.
Gazley was injured in Sunday's contest when he took a fall into the boards behind the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton net. The native of Novi, Michigan is in his fourth season with Hershey, and collected 31 points (14 goals, 17 assists) in 61 games last season.
