Bears announce rescheduled game date

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Hershey Bears announced today that the club’s game originally scheduled for Sunday, January 24 at 5:00 PM against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL game no. 613) has been rescheduled due to the recent severe winter weather.  The game will be played on Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00 PM at GIANT Center.  The announcement was made by Bears president/general manager Doug Yingst in conjunction with the American Hockey League.

All promotions from January 24 will also move to February 10.  Hometown Heroes Night will be held to honor members of the military, EMS, fire and police; the first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a fireman-themed Mike Moore bobblehead figurine courtesy of Metro Bank; and it will be another Dietz and Watson Dollar Dog Night, as all fans may purchase hot dogs for $1 at select concession stands.

All tickets purchased for the game on January 24 will be valid for February 10.  No other refunds or exchanges will be issued.  Hershey Bears season ticket holders may view their policy provided earlier in the season.  Additional tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, by calling 717-508-BEAR or online at TicketMaster.com.
