The Hershey Bears paid their final visit of the season to the PPL Center in Allentown. The Bears carried a 1-0 lead into first intermission over the Phantoms thanks to a Jim O'Brien tally.O'Brien scored his tenth of the season off a centering bid by Jakub Vrana. It was Vrana's first point of the season, and in the American Hockey League.
51 seconds into the middle period, Scott Laughton tied the game for Lehigh Valley. It sent a 1-1 game into the third period, where the Phantoms added three more unanswered goals.
Petr Straka scored the eventual game-winning goal 6:41 into the final frame. Jason Akeson added an insurance marker with 7:16 to play to make it a 3-1 Bears deficit.
Danick Martel added the empty netter with 55 seconds left to round out a 4-1 Phantoms win.
