BEARS, ABC-27 ANNOUNCE 2014-2015 TV SCHEDULE

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Hershey Bears Hockey Club, in conjunction with ABC-27, today announced a slate of seven road games to be broadcast to central Pennsylvania viewers.  The announcement was made by Bears President/GM Doug Yingst.

Capital BlueCross returns for another season as the proud presenting sponsor of the games.

Hershey has four more trips to Allentown’s new PPL Center this season for division matchups with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and all four games will be carried on ABC-27’s RTV channel 27.2, the last of which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14.

The Bears do not visit the Binghamton Senators until February, and the second of four visits to the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena will be broadcast on Friday, February 20.

Hershey’s final trip of the season to Hampton Roads is also on the schedule, with matchups against the Norfolk Admirals on Friday and Saturday, April 3 and 4.

The channel lineup, air times and faceoff times for the seven-game slate are as follows, and are subject to change.

ABC-27’s RTV Channel is NOT available via satellite.

 
“Voice of the Bears” Scott Stuccio will provide game play-by-play, while ABC-27 sports director Gregg Mace will again provide in-game analysis, host interviews and produce special features to air during intermissions.  All televised games will also be carried on the Bears Radio Network of affiliates WQIC-FM 100.1, WTKT-AM 1460 and the iHeart Radio application for smartphones (1460 AM).  Select games will also be carried on WOYK-AM 1350.

ABC-27, which carried the Capital BlueCross AHL Outdoor Classic in January of 2013 and portions of the 2006, 2009 and 2010 Calder Cup Finals, has been the proud flagship television station of the Hershey Bears for 15 years.
