CAPS ASSIGN FIVE TO HERSHEY

HERSHEY, Pa. - The Washington Capitals released five more players from their training camp roster and assigned them to the Hershey Bears. The announcement was made by Bears President/GM Doug Yingst.Goaltender Philipp Grubauer, defenseman Patrick Wey, and forwards Chris Conner, Kris Newbury and Nathan Walker will join the team today. Conner and Newbury will need to clear NHL waivers on Saturday prior to officially reporting.
The Bears training camp roster, with Conner, Mitchell, Newbury and Wellman on waivers, now stands at 27 players (three goaltenders, 11 defensemen, 13 forwards.)
The Bears host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tonight at 7:00 PM. Individual tickets are $12 general admission and parking at the complex is free.
