announced today that the club has signed forward Braden Pimm and defensemen Michal Cajkovsky and Wade Epp to one-year American Hockey League contracts. The announcement was made by Bears President/GM Doug Yingst.
Pimm, 24, will enter his first full professional season in 2014-2015. Last year, Pimm appeared in nine games with the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals after finishing his collegiate career at Northeastern University (HE). In four years at Northeastern, the undrafted Pimm has a total of 85 points (42 goals, 43 assists).
Cajkovsky, 22, is coming off of a breakout professional season with the ECHL’s Reading Royals. Cajkovsky’s 36 points bested all ECHL rookie defensemen, and his season performance earned him a spot on the ECHL’s All-Rookie Team.
Cajkovsky finished his third junior season and second with the OHL’s Ottawa 67’s in 2012-13. In 66 games, his 10 goals, 24 assists and 34 points all ranked second among Ottawa defensemen.
