The Hershey Bears Better Halves Are Bringing Holiday Cheer
‘7 Days of Giving’ Effort Begins December 14th
(Hershey, PA – December 4, 2013) – The
Hershey Bears Better Halves are making the holidays brighter for 6 local organizations with ‘7 Days of Giving.’ Initiatives kick off with the holiday silent auction on Saturday, December 14 at the
Hershey Bears game.
Proceeds will be going to the ‘7 Days of Giving’ program which benefits the following local organizations:

Downtown Daily Bread

Milton Hershey School
-
VA Medical Center
-
Milagro House
-
Penn State Children’s Hospital
"The
Hershey Bears enjoy giving back to the Central PA community," said Doug Yingst, President and GM of the
Hershey Bears. "With the holiday season upon us, The
Hershey Bears Better Halves have found a new way and approach for providing needed assistance."
The auction items will be specialty stockings embroidered with player’s names and filled with a few personal favorite items; including their own holiday ornament along with a team signed porcelain ornament. Another auction item will be Christmas Wreathes decorated with signed ornaments from each player. There will also be a sale of team signed porcelain ornaments for $15.00 each, while supplies last.
