HERSHEY kicked off a short two-game week with a 3-0 loss in Albany to the River Rats Friday night.
Albany scored twice in the first period to lead 2-0 after one period with goals from Chris Terry and Nick Dodge, in the midst of a 15-5 shot barrage. HERSHEY would turn the tables in the shot department over the last two periods, but could not find a way to slip any pucks past Albany goaltender Justin Peters. Peters finished up with a 36-save shutout as the River Rats hung a loss on the Bears for the second consecutive Friday. Jason Bacashihua, who made several key saves in the second period to keep the game close, suffered the setback.

Notes: Oskar Osala (lower body) and Darren Reid (undisclosed) were both injury scratches Friday night. Sean Collins, Grant McNeill and Patrick Wellar all were healthy scratches.
