HERSHEY BEARS Announce 2009-2010 Promotional Nights


08/20/2009 - (HERSHEY, PA) — The Hershey Bears have announced their 2009-2010 promotion schedule. Below are a list of dates and promotions that will be occurring on those nights. Be sure to keep up-to-date with the latest promotions at HersheyBears.com. October 3 • PNC Bank Magnet Night – Come out for opening night of the 2009-10 season of Hershey Bears hockey. The first 8,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of PNC Bank. • Pepsi Party on the Plaza – Don't miss the party prior to puck drop. Come out for your chance to win some great prizes and help us kick off a great season. • Calder Cup Championship Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special Calder Cup Championship jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game for charity. October 11 • Labatt Blue & Labatt Blue Light Poster Night – The first 4,000 fans will receive a poster schedule courtesy of Labatt Blue & Labatt Blue Light. October 24 • Pink at the Rink Night – Help us raise money to be donated to the American Cancer Society. • Breast Cancer Awareness Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special Breast Cancer Awareness jerseys during warm-ups that will be signed and auctioned off during the game to benefit the American Cancer Society. October 25 • Hersheypark Pass Night – All fans will receive a complimentary pass to Hersheypark for the 2010 season, valid through July 4, 2010. October 31 • The Hershey Company Trick-or-Treat Night – All kids 12 and under will receive Halloween candy, courtesy of The Hershey Company. • Central PA Blood Bank Blood Drive – The Blood Bank will be on site, and fans are encouraged to donate blood to help the continuous blood supply shortage. November 13 • Capital BlueCross Water Bottle Night – The first 5,000 fans receive a water bottle, courtesy of Capital BlueCross. • Hatfield Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Word of Life Group Night – Group Specialty Night. November 14 • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Hometown Heroes Group Night – Group Specialty Night. November 21 • Ames Services Rally Towel Night – First 5,000 fans receive a rally towel, compliments of Ames Services. • ZooAmerica Night - Come see all your critter friends from ZooAmerica • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Scout Group Night – Group Specialty Night. November 25 • Stroehmann Bakeries/Canteen & Covenco Vending Services Turkey Shoot - All fans have the opportunity to come down on the ice following the game for the chance to win Thanksgiving food items. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. November 28 • Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2009 Toys for Tots Drive. • "Help the House" Night – The Bears Booster Club will be accepting donations to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Heart Gallery On-Site – Come find out more information on how you can adopt some great kids needing loving homes. • Dutch Wonderland Night - See all your favorite friends from Dutch Wonderland, including Duke the Dragon and Princess Brooke. • Youth Hockey Group Night – Group Specialty Night. November 29 • Arby's Collectible Cup 1 of 4 – First 3,000 fans will receive an Arby's Collectible Cup. This is the first in the series. • Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2009 Toys for Tots Drive. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Heart Gallery On-Site – Come find out more information on how you can adopt some great kids needing loving homes. December 5 • WGAL/Belco Community Credit Union Teddy Bear Toss – Fans are encouraged to toss teddy bears on the ice when the Bears score their first goal. All teddy bears will be donated to charity. • Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2009 Toys for Tots Drive. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Healthcare Group Night – Group Specialty Night. December 6 • Hershey CKC Pharmacy Gift Card Night – The first 3,500 fans will receive a $10 gift card good at any Hershey Pharmacy store. • Hatfield Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands. • Toys for Tots Drive – Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the 2009 Toys for Tots Drive. • Santa On-Site – Santa will be on-site for photo opportunities. • Banking/Finance Group Night – Group Specialty Night. December 27 • Faith Group Night – There will be LIVE acoustic music on the concourse prior to puck drop. January 2 • Scout Group Night – Group Specialty Night. January 17 • US Army Camouflage Hat Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a Camouflage Hat, courtesy of the US Army. • Camouflage Jersey Auction – Bears will wear specialty Camouflage jerseys to be auctioned off following the game. • Central PA Blood Bank Blood Drive – The Blood Bank will be on site, and fans are encouraged to donate blood to help the continuous blood supply shortage. • Hometown Heroes Group Night – Group Specialty Night. January 22 • Arby's Collectible Cup 3 of 4 – First 3,000 fans will receive an Arby's Collectible Cup. January 30 • Comcast Spotlight Night – Don't miss special guest Dora from Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer. January 31 • WIOV Country Night – Artist TBD will play on the concourse prior to puck drop. • Scout Group Night – Group Specialty Night. February 6 • PSECU Knit Cap Night – First 5,000 fans will receive a knit cap, courtesy of PSECU. • Chocolate Covered February – All fans will receive candy upon exit, courtesy of The Hershey Company. • Healthcare Group Night – Group Specialty Night. March 6 • Auto Racing Night – Race into Giant Center for great hockey action. March 7 • Hatfield Dollar Dog Night – Hot dogs will be offered for a dollar each at various concession stands. • Think Green Night –Learn how you can recycle and "Think Green" to save the environment. • Central PA Food Bank – The Bears Booster Club will be accepting donations to benefits the Central PA Food Bank. • ZooAmerica Night - Come see all your critter friends from ZooAmerica. • Faith Group Night – There will be LIVE acoustic music on the concourse prior to puck drop. March 19 • Penn State Hershey Medical Center T-Shirt Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a t-shirt, courtesy of Penn State Hershey Medical Center. • St. Patrick's Day Jersey Auction – The Bears will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game for charity. • Healthcare Night – Group Specialty Night. March 21 • Huggins Printing Company Team Photo Night – The first 5,000 fans will receive a team photo, courtesy of Huggins Printing. • Autograph Night – Fans will have 90 minutes to take photos with the Bears on the ice following the game. March 26 • Metro Bank Backpack Night – First 3,000 fans will receive a backpack, courtesy of Metro Bank. • Boy Scout Sleepover Group Night – Group Specialty Night. March 27 • Dutch Wonderland Night – See all your favorite friends from Dutch Wonderland, including Duke the Dragon and Princess Brooke. • Banking/Finance Night – Group Specialty Night. March 28 • Hersheypark Pass Night – All fans will receive a complimentary pass to Hersheypark for the 2010 season, valid through July 4, 2010. April 3 • Fairview Golf Course Night – The first 3,000 fans will receive a Bears branded golf ball, compliments of Fairview Golf Course. • Hatfield Ham Shoot Night – Fans will have the opportunity to win prizes from Hatfield on the ice following the game. • Central PA Blood Bank Blood Drive – The Blood Bank will be on site, and fans are encouraged to donate blood to help the continuous blood supply shortage. April 4 • Player Awards Night – The players will be acknowledged with various awards. • Bears Fan Appreciation Night – Bears will be giving away prizes as a "thank you" for all the support the fans have given. • Teacher Appreciation Group Night – Group Specialty Night. All promotions are one per person except Hersheypark Pass Nights, which are one per ticket. Promotional nights are subject to change without prior notice. Season tickets are on sale now by calling (717) 508-BEAR, with plans starting at just $145. Great seats are still available, including the popular 12 and 22-game plans that allow you to pick your own games that fit your schedule. The Bears have their first preseason game against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, September 25, at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 27 at 5:00 p.m. against the Norfolk Admirals. Hershey's home opener is Saturday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. Single-game tickets for all regular season games will go on sale to the general public Friday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Hersheypark Stadium Box Office.
