The BEARS will conclude the first half of the 2008-09 regular season Sunday, visiting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Wachovia Arena. The game is a make-up of a snowed out date with the Penguins back on December 19. Face-off is at 5:05 p.m.
HERSHEY enters play Sunday as the best team in the AHL despite a 6-4 setback Saturday against the Albany River Rats. Alexandre Giroux scored two goals in the losing effort, taking over the AHL lead in goals with 27.
Around the East Division Sunday, the Philadelphia Phantoms are in Lake Erie to take on the Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena. The game for Philly is the third in three nights, with the first two coming in Grand Rapids against the Griffins. All other teams in the division have Sunday off.
