BEARS LOOK FOR A PERFECT PRESEASON SATURDAY

The BEARS close out preseason action Saturday night at GIANT Center as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins come to town. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m. HERSHEY looks to round out a perfect preseason Saturday after posting the club's second win in as many tries Friday night. The Chocolate and White never trailed in a 3-2 victory at Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza, improving to 2-0 this exhibition year. Oskar Osala, Darren Reid and Kyle Wilson all scored for the BEARS as Bobby Goepfert earned the win in goal. Four players were assigned Saturday morning to South Carolina out of HERSHEY'S training camp. Defensemen Viktor Dovgan and Sasha Pokulok, along with forward Tom Maxwell and Travis Morin were assigned to the Stingrays. Washington also announced Saturday that forward Jay Beagle heen assigned to HERSHEY. Daren Machesney will take center stage for HERSHEY Saturday night, and many regulars are expected to also skate for the BEARS. Keith Aucoin will make his preseason debut Saturday, skating on a line with Graham Mink and Alexandre Giroux. Dean Arsene is also expected to make his preseason debut Saturday.
